Junior Design Presentations
Machine Design is a core junior year mechanical engineering design course featuring a real-world manufacturing and automation challenge from two local industry sponsors, Norwalt Design and Omega Design. The showcase features end-of-semester technical presentations for 14 separate student teams at the midpoint of their two-semester project, which involves the design, manufacture, and validation of an autonomous bottle fill station.
Vote for your favorite Team Project in the Junior Design People’s Choice Award.
Special thanks to our local industry sponsors, Norwalt Design and Omega Design:
High School Design Presentations
Student teams from local high schools compete in an open-ended design competition as part of University of Delaware’s Engineering Education Ecosystem (E3) Program. The showcase features technical presentations from 12 semi-finalist teams from four area high schools, including Brandywine High School, Concord High School, Padua Academy, and Newark High School.
Robotics Presentations
Senior year and graduate students in an advanced robotics and controls class display their final course projects. The showcase features live demonstrations and a robotics competition.
