The Ammon Pinizzotto Biopharmaceutical Innovation Center, which is under construction at the Science, Technology and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus, will provide necessary space for biopharmaceutical research and related classes on UD’s STAR Campus and serve as a hub for industry partnership.
UD, Delaware Technology Park (DTP) and Discover Bank will partner on the construction of a new building that continues the STAR Campus’s march into the future, adding a building block that taps into the evolving world of financial services technology — commonly called FinTech — with an eye on growth for Delaware.

Newark is the third largest city in Delaware and home to the University of Delaware. Our award-winning downtown received the honor of becoming a Great American Main Street winner in 2011. We have over 17 miles of trails and 33 parks totaling over 650 acres of parkland that include the Newark Reservoir. The James F. Hall Trail is a part of the East Coast Greenway, a developing trail system, spanning nearly 3,000 miles as it winds its way between Canada and Key West, linking all the major cities of the eastern seaboard.
