Sponsor Description: 

The Solar Decathlon competition is hosted by the US Department of Energy. With 10 total contests, colleges are challenged to design or build highly efficient and innovative buildings powered by renewable energy. The competition has seen more than 465 teams come from universities all over the world since its inception in 2002. Its goal is to help educate the public on the benefits of renewable energy solutions while helping to train the next generation for the clean energy workforce. The competition hosts various informational webinars and building science trainings for teams to learn how to design a building of the necessary caliber.
