Sponsor Description: 

Christiana Care is a 906-bed facility in Newark, Delaware providing a level of care that is only seen in large-scale teaching hospitals. It is the only high-risk delivery hospital in Delaware that offers Level 3 neonatal intensive care with over 7,000 deliveries per year. The NICU is a 70-bed intensive care facility with neonatologists, nurse practitioners and trainees 24/7. It is the home to a research-based curriculum for all learners. As part of the research mission and evidence-based practice that is carried out, the NICU is always looking to improve the care delivered to its babies. A partnership with the University of Delaware Biomedical Engineering Department will help meet this overarching mission through research focused innovation.
