Sponsor Description: 

The HensNest is a collaborative public service project led by the UD Department of Mechanical Engineering in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The HensNest is an easy-to-manufacture, reusable face mask that was designed for general public as a safer alternative to sewn cloth masks and bandannas. Depending on the filter material that is used, The HensNest provides four to eight-times the protection of sewn masks and bandannas. Nearly 30,000 HensNests have been distributed since March 2020 in partnership with local manufacturing companies and NGOs.
