Dr. Kittie Verdolini Abbott is a world-renowned researcher in the field of clinical voice disorders, and the current head of the University of Delaware Voice Lab in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. This group includes seven doctoral or postdoctoral researchers whose research interests span multiple domains and their intersections with clinical voice science. The lab has strong ties with the UD Speech & Hearing Clinic, from which it recruits subjects for applied research in human voice disorders, and with which it partners to implement new therapies and assessments for these disorders.
