Local start-up company, MaxPran LLC, specializes in developing large payload, gas powered drones for search and rescue, agriculture, and military applications. Much of MaxPran’s currrent work focuses on the NIST Public Safety and Communications Research Division UAS Flight and Payload Challenge. The company was recently recognized in the 2022 First Responder UAS Indoor Challenge competition from the US National Institute of Standards and Technology.
