Sponsor Description: 

Andrew Meyer is an aerospace engineer at Northrop Grumman and retired Lt. Colonel in the US Air Force. He is actively involved in the homebuilt aircraft community and owns and pilots a Long EZ tandem 2-seater aircraft. Applying his engineering background to his aviation hobby, Andrew has achieved and documented a 15% reduction in drag on his aircraft. The sponsor has been working with UD students for the previous three years improving the overall performance of the aircraft. Students have had the opportunity to partake in flights while collecting data and analyzing performance.
