Sponsor Description: 

Dr. Krause, a Family Physician with a master's degree in Palliative Medicine and a postgraduate diploma in Health Professional Education, currently serves as the acting Head of Division in Interdisciplinary Palliative Care and Medicine. Dr. Krause's clinical practice is based at Groote Schuur Hospital. Her primary research interest lies in the enhancement and integration of Palliative Care practices within hospital settings.
Dr. Magdaleen de Swardt, also a Family Physician with a postgraduate diploma in Palliative Medicine, holds the role of convener for the undergraduate palliative medicine program at the University of Cape Town. Dr. de Swardt's clinical responsibilities encompass Groote Schuur Hospital, as well as a Community Clinic in Heideveld.
