Sponsor Description: 

The University of Delaware Athletics and Recreation Department is an integral part of the campus community and overall institutional mission. The University of Delaware Athletics program sponsors 21 NCAA sports with approximately 650 student-athletes participating in varsity programs. An integral part of our student-athlete experience is our Sport Performance Department, which encompasses Athletic Training, Strength and Conditioning, Performance Nutrition, and Sport Psychology. As our athletes compete at the highest level, we are looking at ways to enhance our medical care across a variety of platforms and partnerships. Partnering with our campus constituents in the areas of research (specifically Bioengineering) is one way we can enhance our athlete’s experience, provide research for campus entities, and develop our staff.
