Susan Marron is a Lactation Consultant at Nemours Children's Health Delaware in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), interested in innovational improvements within neonatology and women's health. This interest laid the foundation for the design of a novel Sanitization Systems and Methods for Medical Devices (patent-pending 63/162,187). Tariq Rahman is the Center Director/Principal Research Engineer in the Nemours Department of Biomedical Research at Nemours Children's Health, Delaware. Tariq and Susan worked together on the Sanitization Systems and Methods for Medical Devices, which included design, 3D printed prototypes, and a pilot study conducted in our NICU to test the device safety and NICU mother satisfaction.
