One of the priorities for our college is to cultivate welcoming, actively inclusive and collaborative classrooms and workplaces to foster a sense of belonging that helps everyone excel. Improving our culture and climate is a top priority, as outlined in our strategic plan.

An important first step towards improving our culture and climate is to clearly identify and amplify our fundamental values and behaviors. David Friedman, CEO of CultureWise, recommended that we establish a set of fundamentals to serve as a practical guide for our behavior. After all, our behavior helps define who we are. To that end, each Monday, the dean will share a fundamental for the week. We encourage you to consider how you can apply these fundamentals during the week and beyond.
