Office of Engineering Academic Affairs (OEAA)

The Office of Engineering Academic Affairs (OEAA) develops and implements policies and programs to foster successful student/faculty outcomes in our diverse engineering environment, manages the College of Engineering student academic support philosophy and overall student diversity and success, and manages various College-level events and activities that focus on student academic support and recognition including, but not limited to, the Engineering Convocation and our National Engineers Week observance.

Undergraduate Advisement

Student Development & Support

Student Development and Support encompasses the development and delivery of information regarding educational support, career development and overall student success.

RISE

The RISE Program identifies academically talented minority students as well as others, and provides a supportive atmosphere to enhance their success in attaining an engineering degree.

Student Organizations

Engineering is a team sport and one of the ways that students learn to play effectively and win is to develop the ability to work productively with a diversity of people in different scenarios through participation in Registered Student Organizations.

K-12 Engineering Outreach

The K-12 Engineering Outreach program works closely with faculty to bring their research concepts into K-12 activities that are grounded in current educational theory as well as engaging and enjoyable for the K-12 community.
